GIRL!!!We are thrilled to announce the birth of Susanna Isobel Seawright. Susanna was born on October 15, 2007 at 8:49a.m. (9:49p.m. EST Sunday, Oct 14). She weighed in at 4.16 kg (9 lbs 3 oz) and 56 cm (roughly 22 inches). We praise the Lord for the fastest labor for Heidi so far–just over 3 hours from the first contraction!! Also, the biggest blessing is that Susanna was completely healthy at birth (unlike Rachel and Isaac). It is really neat and different for her to be in the room with us. Both Rachel and Isaac were in the NICU. Heidi is doing great and is relieved to have the labor and delivery behind her. We were ready for the baby early last week but Susanna decided to wait until the day after Heidi’s due date. As we did with Rachel and Isaac, we would like to share with each of you the meaning behind Susanna’s name. Susanna Isobel SeawrightSusanna–Hebrew for “lily” Isobel–named after Isobel Kuhn, missionary with her husband John in China and Thailand

What a precious “little” girl! (Mine have always been in the mid 7 pound range.) We are happy for the newest arrow in your quiver! I’m sure Rachel probably doesn’t remember me from our visit last January, but please tell her I said hello. We will now pray for your sleep to be sweet–when you do get some!!
