Holding the Ropes Update #32
Filed under (Holding the Ropes) by Chris Seawright @ 07:50 pm

Greetings from Clemson, SC! We are currently at our first furlough meeting, a missions conference, with our sending church, University Baptist. We have been in the States for four weeks now and have gotten used to being Americans again! The culture shock only lasted for a couple of weeks. It has been great to see so many of you already and we will be looking forward to seeing more of you in Ohio, Michigan, and West Virginia in the coming weeks. We would like to ask you to “hold the ropes” for the following requests over the next few weeks:

1. Please pray for our travels up North during the month of April and May and for the Lord to be glorified and God’s people to have joy as they hear of God’s doings in Pursat.
2. Please pray for a unique opportunity to meet some Khmai-Americans in Virginia next week (April 2). They are related to some of our friends in Pursat. Some of them are believers, but many are not. Many of them only speak Khmai though they have been in the States for more than 20 years.
3. Please pray for our teammates who are in Bangkok awaiting the birth of their baby girl. Jennifer is due March 29 so it could be any day now.
4. Please pray for the church in Preiy Nyee during the McPhails absence. Thi will be doing most of the teaching and his mother, Janna, will be teaching Ming Khom over the next few weeks.

Until the net is full,

Chris for the Seawrights
