About Our Ministry
Our Ministry History:
Our family arrived in Cambodia on March 4, 2004. The first year we spent in the capital city of Phnom Penh focusing all of our energies on language learning and cultural adaptation. From March 29, 2005 to March 25, 2010 (almost 5 years exactly), our family worked directly with the Forrest McPhail family in Pursat province, about 3 hours northwest of Phnom Penh. By God’s grace, we were able to help the McPhails with the planting of the Inheritance in Christ Church (ICC) in Preiy Nyee commune. The believers chose the church name based on Acts 26:18. The church was birthed on June 4, 2006 when 13 believers were baptized. Four years later on June 6, 2010, the church recognized two men as deacons, Ti (to the left of Forrest), and Puek (to the left of Chris)

On May 29, 2011, on the 5th anniversary of ICC, Ti was ordained into the Gospel ministry and became the first pastor of the church.
Also during these five years in Pursat, the Lord raised up another small Bible study in Anlong Vul commune in Kundieng district. There are 3 believers in this church as of 2011.
On March 25, 2010, our family moved to the province of Pailin near the Thailand border to begin a new church planting ministry. Forrest and Chris had made many survey and evangelistic trips to this area over the years. Our goal in Pailin is evangelism, teaching, church-planting, and leadership development.
Also, the Lord has burdened Forrest and Chris about developing Khmer resources for usage in evangelism and discipleship in our ministries as well as in the Khmer church in general. Some of these resources are available on our blog.
