About Our Ministry

Praise the Lord for the recent open doors for the Gospel here in Pursat. Currently we are working in three different areas in Pursat:

Preiy Nyee (Inheritance in Christ Church)

A small group of people approached Forrest and Chris in April 2006 about wanting to break away from their denominational church to begin a new independent church in Preiy Nyee district. On June 4, 2006, after two months of teaching the essentials of the Gospel, 13 believers were baptized and the church was started. The believers chose the name “Inheritance in Christ Church” based on Acts 26:18. In 2007, by God’s grace, the church has grown to over 20 members.

Anlong Vul

A middle aged woman, Ming Khom, was baptized in this district on August 5, 2006. She continues to be the only believer in Anlong Vul. Forrest, Chris, Ming Khom, and the believers in Preiy Nyee have done extensive evangelism in this area. The seed has been planted and watered. We are praying for the Lord to bring the increase soon. Our desire is to see an indigenous church started in this area.

Khbal Hong

The Lord has given us many opportunities in this village where both our family and the McPhail’s live. Over the past year we have had numerous evangelistic outreaches and Bible studies in our neighborhood. No one has professed faith in Christ yet but we believe the Lord is beginning to work in hearts.
