Our Vision

Vision Statement of McPhail/Seawright Team

We want to express our specific long-term vision and burdens for our ministry in Cambodia and specifically in the province of Pursat. There are at least 5 elements of this vision:

1. We desire to see churches planted in 3 areas: 1) Near the center of Pursat town; 2) In the District of Kandieng; and 3) Near our homes in Khbal Hong.
2. We desire to see 4 missionary couples come to Cambodia to become part of our team. We are particularly burdened to see these couples reach the provinces of Battambang (2 couples) and Pailin (2 couples) with the Gospel. We desire couples who would agree with our missions philosophy statement and strive to practice it in their respective places of ministry.
3. We desire to see 12 Khmai men raised up by the Lord in this part of Cambodia who will be servant-leaders in the Khmai churches as pastors and evangelists. These men will then, on their own initiative, be burdened to start indigenous churches throughout Cambodia and surrounding countries.
4. We are burdened to be involved in writing and publishing evangelistic and discipleship materials that will be helpful to the Khmai Christian community as a whole in accomplishing the Great Commission.
5. We are burdened to have a Bible institute/school that will be used by the Lord to train national men for the ministry of the Word. We believe that the institute/school must not compromise indigenous principles and should be done in a way that best suits the Cambodian cultural context. We believe that the most practical way to do this is through block courses in a mobile institute.
