Here are some Khmer resources that we have written that we hope will be a help to you:

1. Must Believers in Jesus honor their parents? (2009)

This is the first tract in our Question/Answer booklet that we plan to author and publish in the coming years. One of the most common questions that we get when evangelizing Buddhist Khmers about Biblical Christianity is: Must believers in Jesus obey and honor their parents? The reason many Cambodians ask this question is because they perform many merit-making ceremonies for their parents before their parents die and after they die. Since they do not see Christians Khmers performing similar ceremonies, they assume that Christians do not honor their parents like the typical Buddhist. We have decided to provide a concise, Biblical answer to this common question.

2. The Gospel of Jesus: The Costs and Joys of Becoming a Child of God Discipleship Booklet (2010)

This is a small booklet that consists of an introduction and 5 lessons that helps those who have been exposed to Christian teaching to better understand the costs and joys of following Jesus. This booklet explains the meaning of true saving faith and true saving repentance as well as addresses two issues very important in the beginning of a Khmer believer’s Christian life: persecution and baptism.

3. Ten-Point Gospel Summary Sheet (2010)

This is a short summary of the Gospel in ten points. Its primary purpose is to help teach believers what are the most important truths that should be communicated when evangelizing others. Each point includes a key Scripture passage that can be used for memorization.

4. Why Do All People Need to Believe on Jesus Tract (2010)

This 8-sided tract discusses the improper and proper reasons for believing on Jesus and the need for all people–old/young, rich/poor, Khmai/foreigner–to believe on Jesus because we all have a disease called sin that only Jesus can heal.

5. If I believe on Jesus, what are the benefits? (2011)

This is the 2nd question in our Q/A booklet. This is a common question that Khmers typically ask to those who believe in Jesus. This 8-sided tract explains 2 key promises that Jesus has given to all who repent and believe on Him: The Forgiveness of Sins and the Inheritance (the down payment of which is God’s Spirit indwelling and changing us). Also discussed briefly is some false teaching regarding the “health and wealth” Gospel so prevalent in Cambodia.
